Super Hero Birthday Party

You can only imagine how much fun Braden had putting on all of his costumes for these pictures. We even had to do a Rock Star version, that didn't make the invite.

Braden's Birthday Wish List

With every trip to the "store" Braden asks about toys and gets the same response "No buddy, it's too close to your birthday," so on his last trip with Blake he let him pick out whatever toys he wanted and Blake took a picture for his "list." This worked GREAT at Christmas, and was once again a success. He had so much fun just getting to pick the toys up and have a picture taken.

It's already started, he and Mason are getting a "joint" birthday gift this year, a swing set. Of course we've told Braden it's his "early" present and asked if we could tell Mason it's for his birthday, too. He went right along with this.

Last September our best buddy Will had silly string at his birthday party. He also had a bounce around and cotton candy, but Braden has not forgotten about the silly string. Blake asked him if he would like to have a swing set for his birthday and he said, "Yeah, can I have some silly string, too?"

The New Newborns

Looks like Grandma Odean has been making the rounds visiting her new great grands. Two babies within two days is quite an accomplishment.

Is there anything sweeter than a sleeping baby? I think this is one of Mason's outfits that he was able to fit in for about 5 minutes! We've had no problems sharing all our boy clothes.

In the words of Braden, "They have the same hair"

I cannot get over this head of hair! Isn't she a doll!

The Last Worthless Evening

Our evening was far from worthless. We had great company, Todd & Silvia Wixson, for a great dinner and show on Saturday night. We enjoyed an hour and a half of Don Henley at Downstream Casino. It was an outdoor venue, and a little cool, but not unbearable.

We missed you, Pop & Nan!

This is the view of the stage before he came out. The casino is in the background.

Blake was able to walk right up to the stage to get these shots!

Need some help Dad?

Mason could hear the mower outside, although he didn't know "what" it was, he wanted to take a look for himself. When he realized it was Daddy, he pounded the window and screamed. Then Braden realized he was missing out on a mower ride, so he immediately got dressed and headed out the door.

Mason was somewhat content to hang out in his walker and watch Brother have all the fun.

But then we had to move a little closer so he could enjoy his playset.

Daddy and Braden were laughing at Mason just as much as Mason was laughing back at them.
