Because our country's birthday fell on Sunday, the neighborhood parade was Saturday morning before the T-ball double header! I'm coming to terms with the fact that it is next to impossible to get a good picture of both boys at the same time! I am thankful for Photoshop! Blake ran a 5k (1st place in his category) at 7:30 a.m., parade was at 9:30 and the first game was at 11.
Braden and Will were so happy to be at the parade. Last year it was rained out, or so we thought, unbeknown to these guys they had the parade anyway, in the rain!
Mason doesn't rememeber it, but this is actually his second parade! The first was when he was a month old! Check it out!
Our godsend, Suzie, with Mr. Mason. Life would not be the same without Suzie! She has adopted us (and several other families) and we are forever grateful to have her in our lives. Thanks to Suzie we've had one overnight trip away from the boys and we'll actually get to celebrate our 10 year anniversary with anther one!!!!!
The lady holding the flags, is the coordinator of this event. Saturday's parade marked the 31st annual event! There were adults who drove from Kansas City for the morning, so their kids could participate in this parade like they did as children.
Braden and Will were so proud to be right behind the drummers! Poor drummers got their heels scraped...I promise!
